NASHUA – St. Nick is due to make his annual appearance in Greeley Park on Sunday.
Santa Claus and a posse of attendant elves and other helpers will arrive promptly at noon and stay until 2 p.m., said Imelda Murphy, the Right Jolly Old Elf’s handler and special agent during the four years of the annual event.
Murphy started the event as a way to bring Santa to children without parents having to endure the hassles and expenses of dragging them to a shopping mall. The event has grown each year, with more than 130 children attending last year, Murphy said.
