NASHUA – Yolanda Diaz left her full-time job as a machine operator two years ago to take care of her mother, who had cancer.
She drove her mom to doctor’s appointments and even lived in her mother’s home in Lawrence, Mass. for two months.
Today, Diaz says she’s thankful her mom is doing OK. But the single mother of three hasn’t had much luck breaking back into the job market.
