HUDSON – When Robin Reis, of Hudson, found out her daughter’s best friend had cancer, she knew she had to do something to help.
Two weeks ago, 11-year-old McKenzie Lowe was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. McKenzie is the only child of Diane and Ron Lowe, of Hudson.
Reis’ daughter, Lexie, and McKenzie have been almost inseparable since age 3.
“She’s like a second daughter to me,” Reis said.![]()
