NASHUA – As donations and volunteer work for the Santa Fund continue, Dot Losik is still knitting – but now for next season.
The Nashua native has knitted and crocheted items to donate to The Telegraph’s Santa Fund for more than a decade. She dropped off this year’s items – which included bed slippers, stocking hats, scarves for children and adults, baby bibs, booties, bonnets and ponchos with matching hats and six toddler sweaters – earlier this season.
“It takes time, but I like to keep my hands going. I’m 83 years old,” Losik said.
