Picking against the Patriots is a no-no

We promise. It will never happen again. We will never doubt the ability of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots to win a big, primetime game. It’s obviously bad karma to do so. The Patriots don’t normally lose those types of regular-season games, and last Monday night they reminded us all of that. The bad karma led to a miserable 2-5 picking week, one that is certainly inexcusable. Now, of course, the Patriots are going to face another big test on Sunday night, but who would doubt them now? They’ve won seven in a row, been in command the entire time, and despite the fact the 49ers are an impressive team, they haven’t been able to beat the St. Louis Rams, so there are flaws. It’s the home stretch, teams are creating separation right and left, with a lot of key games this weekend.
