NASHUA – A tip led to the arrest of two men buying and selling drugs transaction outside a residence, police said.
William Castro, 37, of 36 Allds St., Nashua, and Michael LeLacheur, 21, of 37 Schaefer Circle, Hudson, were arrested Saturday by Nashua patrol officers, police said.
Police received a call from a concerned residents reporting what was believed to be an ongoing drug deal between the two people outside a city home, police said.
Officers found Castro and LeLacheur in their vehicles. Officers contacted them and developed information that Castro had just sold a number of oxycodone to LeLacheur, who was in possession of the pills, police said.
Both men were eventually arrested by patrol officers, police said.
Detectives from the Narcotics Intelligence Division continued the investigating and searched Castro’s vehicle and found more drugs, police said.
Castro is charged with, one count of sale of a narcotic drug, Oxycodone Hydrochloride; two counts of possession of a narcotic drug, Oxycodone Hydrochloride, with intent to distribute; one count of possession of a narcotic drug, Suboxone, all of which are felonies; and one count of possession of a controlled drug. He was held on $75,000 cash bail and is set to be arraigned on Monday.
