NASHUA – The Nashua hockey community, working with both the Nashua High School North and South programs, has been trying its best to improve and make the Conway Arena Holiday Hockey Tournament a more relevant event.
Well, Monday’s North-South championship matchup should help.
The two local rivals are scheduled to take the ice at 2 p.m., just nine days after meeting in a regular season encounter. Look at this, perhaps, on New Year’s Eve as something akin to a Thanksgiving football matchup. Lots of feeling with no effect on the Division I standings.
“It’s going to be a great game, a great rivalry game,” North’s Bill Loranger said.
