NASHUA – Trials for an elderly man and young woman accused of acting in concert in a series of sexual assaults of a 14-year-old girl in summer 2011 are set to begin in February and March.
Paul E. Caya Jr., 80, of 34 Jefferson St., is scheduled to stand trial in March on seven counts of felonious sexual assault and seven counts of prostitution, according to court documents.. He was in superior court Wednesday for a pretrial hearing and remained free on bail pending trial.
Nashua attorney Charles Keefe said the exact date has yet to be determined.
“We will continue to prepare for trail … our position is that Mr. Caya is not guilty as he has been charged,” Keefe said.
