CONCORD (AP) - A 54-year-old Exeter Democrat is being inaugurated governor of New Hampshire and holding an open house at the Statehouse to greet the public. Maggie Hassan is taking the oath of office Thursday afternoon. The former Senate majority leader and business attorney lost her re-election bid to the Senate in a Republican sweep in 2010. She beat Republican Ovide Lamontagne in November to win the governor's office.![]()
