Alvirne trailed by 12 in the first half but used a 16-0 third quarter run to get back in the game. The backcourt duo of Veronica Moceri and Sandi Purcell combined for 43 points, including nine 3-pointers. Moceri and Kaycee Carbone had six rebounds each to leads the winners, who improved to 4-1.
