MONT VERNON (AP) - Authorities say a man thought to be suicidal was shot and injured during his interaction with police in Mont Vernon.
State Attorney General Michael A. Delaney says in a brief statement that Mont Vernon Police responded to a call about a suicidal man on Sunday. He identified the man only as Geoffrey Bidwell.
Delaney's statement says Bidwell was being treated for his injuries, and his condition was stable.
No information was given about police involvement in the shooting or how it occurred.
