CONCORD (AP) - The trial is getting under way for a New Hampshire lawyer charged with exploiting a 14-year-old girl to produce child pornography.
Federal prosecutors say the woman took the girl to Canada in May 2012 to engage in sexual conduct to produce child pornography.
Last week prosecutors added an eighth felony charge against the woman, saying she videotaped her and the child engaging in sexually-explicit conduct.
She has pleaded not guilty and been held without bond since her arrest in November.
The woman also has been ordered to have no contact with the victim, after U.S. Attorney John Kacavas argued that she - in phone conversations from jail - was pressuring the child about what to say.
The trial is expected to start on Wednesday.![]()
