Stormy day for schools’ schedules

Campbell High School athletic director John Patterson spent most of his professional career in South Carolina. He remembered the time it snowed. He went out and took pictures of the snow on palm trees and how it turned the football field white for a few hours. Now in his second year at Campbell, Patterson is getting used to the occasional storm, and the hours spent on the phone resheduling games, dealing with the bus company and notifying game officials. Wednesday was the kind of day athletic directors dread.
