Nashua police arrested a city man Sunday and charged him with punching and knocking a woman down, breaking her collarbone.
Police were called shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday for a reported domestic disturbance. After talking with the victim and several witnesses, officers arrested Jack Deering, 37, of 4 Middle St., Apt. B, and charged him with domestic violence simple assault and resisting arrest, police said.
The victim was taken to the hospital, and detectives determined that the woman had been punched, which knocked her to the ground and broke her collarbone.
