GREENLAND (AP) – A New Hampshire school superintendent says about a dozen children at a school in Greenland are doing fine after they went to the nurse’s office feeling queasy.
Superintendent George Cushing tells the Portsmouth Herald the children’s vital signs are fine, according to emergency medical technicians. None got into an ambulance that arrived at the Greenland Central School on Thursday morning. Students in kindergarten through eighth grade attend the school.
A fifth-grade student leaving the school said all the children who were sick were in a science class working on an experiment. Katherine Hartley said she felt dizzy and nauseous and her hand went numb.![]()
