HUDSON – The combination of a bad hair day and search for a New Year’s resolution launched Hudson native Rachel Boucher on a whirlwind fundraiser campaign for St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
The junior at the University of Tampa was home for winter break when she launched the fundraiser nearly a month ago. Boucher thought it was a long shot to hit her initial goal of raising $5,000 for the nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure through research for childhood cancer.![]()
