LITCHFIELD – A vehicle smashed into the front door of Litchfield’s Pantry Pride Convenience Mart on Sunday afternoon, shutting down the business until the damage could be repaired.
A witness said a young female driver crashed into the entrance of the store at 469 Charles Bancroft Highway (also Route 3A). Owner Young Kim declined to comment to a Telegraph reporter as he swept away the debris left in the wake of the accident. Witnesses said no injuries were reported.
Litchfield police were unavailable for comment Sunday.
Queen City Glass and Mirror arrived late Sunday afternoon to begin rebuilding the front entrance to Pantry Pride.
