The driver escaped injury when an oil truck owned by the Fred Fuller company overturned on Tater Street in Mont Vernon about 2:40 p.m. Monday.
Francis Dougherty Jr. told police that the accident occurred when he tried to wipe away a drop of oil that had gotten into his eye. Police Chief Kyle Aspinwall said there was no leak from the vehicle, and because it was home heating oil and not propane or gasoline, there was no danger of explosion, so it was just a matter of waiting for a wrecker crew to get the truck off the road.– Telegraph Staff
