HOLLIS – Superintendent Susan Hodgdon won’t return to SAU 41 next year after her contract expires June 30.
According to a statement from the SAU 41 Governing Board, it was a joint decision between the board and Hodgdon not to renew the contract.
“The board is thankful for (Hodgdon’s) five years of service and her many contributions to the success of SAU 41,” the statement reads. “The board wishes her success in her future endeavors.”
Hodgdon said that she submitted her resignation to Governing Board Chairman Bill Beauregard this month, after coming to a joint decision with the chairman before the holidays. Hodgdon said she could not go into details about the decision, but that she was interested in looking at other opportunities.
