FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Welcome to the fourth week of the preseason in Week Two.
Staring at a stretch of three games in 10 days, that's apparently how the New England Patriots treated Monday night's 27-17 exhibition loss at Gillette Stadium.
The fourth week is usually the week no regulars play, not the second. But on Monday there were no Tom Brady sightings, or any of Wes Welker. The Summer of Rob (Gronkowski) had to endure a game without him as well.
