A Verizon advertisement airing on national television features a “telepresence” robot from Nashua firm VGo.
The ad shows a boy who has unspecified health problems that keep him at home attending class via a VGo robot.
It is a simulation done with actors in a studio, but is an “accurate” re-creation of the way students are using the technology, said Ned Semonite, vice president of product management and marketing.
