NASHUA – The Board of Education will discuss plans to search for a new assistant superintendent search at their Monday meeting, after Superintendent Mark Conrad announced last week that Dr. Althea Sheaff plans to retire at the end of the school year.
Sheaff, who manages curriculum and instruction for the district, has worked in the school system for 10 years.
The board also will take action on her retirement Monday, before discussing plans to search for an individual to fill her position next year.
Conrad told members of the Human Resources Committee last week that it will be a hard position to fill.
“I think she is a great asset to the district,” he said. “I love working with (Sheaff), and it certainly will be hard to find someone with her energy and knowledge. ...![]()
