NASHUA – Nine women and three men deciding the fate of Benjamin Duling broke for the day Monday afternoon without reaching a verdict in his murder trial and are resuming deliberations at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The jury deliberated roughly four hours after hearing closing arguments from prosecutors and Duling’s defense attorney Monday morning.
In his closing, defense attorney Mike Hulser compared Benjamin Duling’s reaction the night of April 18, 2008, to that of someone stung by a bee.
When a person is stung, he swats the bee and stomps on it to kill it.![]()
