MERRIMACK – Nick Jaskolka doesn’t just coach baseball, he lives for it.
“I’m going crazy right now,” he said of the baseball down time during the blah winter days. “The past few years, I’ve been coaching baseball eight, nine months out of the year. I love it.”
From this March to June, he’ll be coaching from the dugout at Merrimack High School, as the Tomahawks new head coach. Jaskolka was named last month to replace Ryan Anderson, who was forced to resign after the controversy surrounding his ejection from a tournament game, suspension by rule, and subsequent practices with the team thereafter.![]()
