There are always huge adjustments when an athlete moves from high school to college. It might be being away from home for the first time, and it might be the increased demands that college athletes, especially scholarship athletes, generally face.
But one adjustment Souhegan High School Jane White hasn’t had to face at Bentley University is the added pressure of being on a losing team.
Two years after leading Souhegan to an undefeated season and the first of back-to-back Division II state titles, White is on an unbeaten team again, and in this case a team ranked No. 2 in the country.
“The great thing about this team is that if we get down,’’ White said. “There’s always somebody to pick us up.
“It might be a starter or it might be somebody coming off the bench.![]()
