Sonatina Music Therapy, a private music therapy provider serving New Hampshire counties and southern Maine is taking sign ups for Nashua students in February.
Thursday social skills groups at Immaculate Conception Parish on East Dunstable Road are geared toward students ages 3-5 from 4:15-5 p.m. and students ages 6-10 from 5:15–6 p.m., according to the organization’s website.
Sonatina offers group music therapy sessions, early childhood music groups, and beginner piano lessons for children, adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities, focusing on developing and refining social, emotional, communication and cognitive skills.
The sessions’ goals and objectives reflect individual strengths, needs, abilities and musical preferences, according to its website.
