HUDSON – Like children receiving presents on Christmas, most of us don’t think about who plows out roads and what sort of effort goes into keeping our thoroughfares clear during the winter.
But whether we think about it or not, the task often takes long hours and concerted effort. When Nemo hit New England on Friday afternoon, Jeremy Faulkner, of the Hudson Department of Public Works, along with 14 other drivers, took to the streets in plow trucks to keep the roadways clear for motorists.
Faulkner, 33, who has been working for the DPW the past 11 years, is the second-youngest plow driver on the force for Hudson.
