12:57 p.m. – Alone, on the ice
NASHUA – Dan and Galen Walton had the rink all to themselves Friday afternoon.
With the snowstorm bearing down on the region, the Nashua father and son spent several hours skating Friday at the outdoor ice rink at Roby Park on Spit Brook Road.
Occasionally, other skaters would join them, picking up a hockey stick. But as the snow fell harder, they would quickly depart, leaving the Waltons alone on the ice.
“Where is everybody?” Dan Walton, a respiratory therapist, said as he took a break between laps. “Last night, we were out here playing a four-on-four game.
