MILFORD – Morgan Andrews and Courtney Hawkins have been friends and classmates for a long time.
On Monday, the Milford High School seniors got to share one of their biggest experiences.
With friends, family and teachers looking on, Andrews and Hawkins each signed national letters of intent to continue playing their respective sports at the collegiate level. Andrews will be heading to Notre Dame to play soccer, while Hawkins will be staying in New England, after signing to run track and cross country at the University of Rhode Island.
Both were filled with nervous laughter, as they completed the forms that made everything official.
“It feels great,” Hawkins said. “I was shaking up to the point I was signing, and now it’s just such a great relief.![]()
