North’s Loranger takes fast track to winning

Perhaps Bill Loranger was a player whose button was still waiting to be pushed. Along comes new coach Dan Legro, and sees Loranger. Sees Loranger skate. Sees him skate past several opponents, working at both ends of the ice. All he needed, possibly, was a push. Legro hit the right button, and that push has meant everything to the senior who has a total of 15 goals on the year (including holiday tourney games) and almost each one important as Nashua High School North tries to put on a late season push to make the Division I tournament. “It makes me feel like I’m important to his program, and to this school,” Loranger said.
