PITTSBURG (AP) - A state conservation officer says a man has died of injuries he suffered in a snowmobile accident near Pittsburg in northern New Hampshire.
Conservation officer Christopher Egan says 63-year-old John Allen of Errol died Sunday after his snowmobile crashed near some trees about 15 feet from a trail near River Road. Several snowmobilers stopped to help him, including a registered nurse. Egan says Allen was unconscious and not breathing.
Egan says those at the scene started efforts to revive Allen and removed him by rescue sled from the crash site. Allen was later pronounced dead.![]()
