A Merrimack man was indicted on six charges – including three felonies – related to a domestic incident.
Matthew Bobola, 44, with a last known address of 19 Hilton Drive, Merrimack, is charged with second-degree assault, a Class B felony, for allegedly strangling a victim in a Jan. 1 incident in Merrimack.
The charge was one of the February indictments by a Hillsborough County grand jury. Bobola also was indicted on charges of kidnapping, a Class B felony, for allegedly sitting on the victim on a couch and attempting to place zip ties around her head.
He also faces charges of attempted second-degree assault, a Class B felony, and three counts of simple assault, a Class A misdemeanor. A Class B felony is punishable by up to seven years in prison plus a fine of up to $4,000.
