St. Joseph Community Service’s Meals on Wheels program will keep rolling on a $25,000 grant from The Doris and Vivian Horton Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. “Over the past few years, funding has remained flat, while need and costs have risen significantly,” said Meghan Brady, president of St. Joseph Community Services. “This grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation supports our efforts to provide a hot, nutritious meal and a safety check for homebound adults who cannot provide meals for themselves. “We are deeply grateful for the support from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.” The foundation, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, was formed to allow local donors to take an organized approach to giving and to better understand the needs in their region. For more information about Meals on Wheels, corporate sponsorship or in-kind donations, contact Maribeth McCue at devmgr@sjcsinc.org or 424-9967. – MARYALICE GILL
