What a difference a year can make in the world of weather. In 2012, we saw the least snowy February on record with just a trace, but this year, Nashua residents had to shovel 31.4 inches of snow. While nowhere near the February record of 55.2 inches from 1969, the 31.4 inches is good for an eighth place tie with 1956 and is also the snowiest February since 1972.
The majority of the snow came with the blizzard of Feb. 8-9, when 24 inches was measured at Nashua’s Pennichuck Water Works.
