Five accidents, including a six-car pile-up, snarl traffic on F.E. Everett Turnpike in Nashua

NASHUA – A six-vehicle pile-up on the F.E. Everett Turnpike snarled traffic late on Election Day and sent one person to the hospital. The crash occurred about 5:46 p.m. Tuesday in the northbound lane in the area of Exit 6. It was one of nine motor vehicle crashes that kept state police busy from 4:41 to 6:51 p.m., including two collisions in Manchester on Interstate 293 in the area of Exit 7 and two collisions in Windham on Interstate 93 in the area of the Windham scales. The remaining five accidents occurred on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua. In total, 23 vehicles were involved. In the six-vehicle accident in Nashua, six people were involved.
