WILTON – Patrick Kenney tapped his first maple when he was just 12 years old. Since then, he’s only tapped more and more each year.
Now, the Wilton resident is the co-owner of one of the area’s newest sugar shacks, the Brookview Sugar House, a small commercial maple syrup operation running from his Gage Road home. Kenney, his wife, Sara, and uncle, Brian Adams, all work full time, so making the sweet substance is a mostly a nights and weekend gig for them.
But this weekend is the biggest one of the year for members of the New Hampshire Maple Syrup Producers Association, which include the Kenneys.![]()
