NASHUA – The trial for a woman charged with luring a teen into sexual encounters with an elderly man has been delayed.
Ashley Xiggores, 26, of 36½ Lovell St., was scheduled to stand trial the first week in April. However, her defense filed a motion to continue the trial to a later date, according to prosecutors.
No new trial date has been set.
Xiggores faces seven counts of criminal liability to another for felonious sexual assault and one count of criminal solicitation to prostitution stemming from an alleged scheme with Paul Caya, according to court records.
Police allege that Xiggores lured a 14-year-old girl into a series of sexual encounters with Caya in exchange for drugs and cigarettes, according to court documents.
Caya, 81, meanwhile, agreed to plead guilty to one count of felonious sexual assault and one count of prostitution. He faces 3½ to seven years in prison when he’s sentenced April 1 in Hillsborough County Superior Court.
