LONDONDERRY (AP) - Police say a 33-year-old New Hampshire man is facing charges after allegedly attacking his uncle with an ax.
Aaron McDermott, of Londonderry, is being held on $50,000 bail on charges that include assault, criminal threatening with a deadly weapon and drug possession. A court hearing is scheduled Monday.
Officials told the Eagle-Tribune that McDermott is charged with striking Marc Vitti twice with an ax during a fight at their home last Wednesday.
Lt. Timothy Jones said Vitti told police his nephew hit him in the back and on the elbow, but the injuries weren't serious and he didn't require hospitalization.![]()
