It’s back to work for the New England Patriots.
They’re two days into their post bye-week preparations now, taking on the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at Gillette Stadium. Not exactly a tough way to get back into it. Sure, any game in the National Football League is tough, but the Bills are poorly coached and poorly assembled, have been for years, and are not a threat.
The Patriots, and the rest of the NFL, are approaching the time when the men separate themselves from the boys, and there’s a question of just how many men there are in the AFC.
The Patriots should be one of the few men, along with Houston, Pittsburgh, and perhaps Baltimore. We’ll just have to wait and see.
“Just go out there and play very disciplined, very smart, very tough,” Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said in Wednesday’s post-bye week press conference.
