Cavs Mites with upset win The Southern New Hampshire Cavaliers Mites took down division leader Melrose, Mass., 2-1. The Cavaliers defense set the tone for the game. Jack MacEachen and Chase Devins strong defensive presents disrupted the flow of the Melrose Offense. Cavs’ offense of Evan Doughty, Stephen Toom, Will Dodge, Jake Dodge and Sal D’Amico constant pressure kept Melrose’s defense hard at work while Melrose’s goalie kept the game scoreless through one period. Patrick Sehulster and Michael Spinazzola continued the strong defensive game by controlling the puck in the neutral zone.
