NASHUA – The city’s annual Taste of Downtown brought the usual good food, community spirit and busy atmosphere that attendees have come to expect.
What some didn’t expect at the event last week, however, was to be ticketed for parking.
“I had quite a few customers complain” about parking tickets, said Judy Dionne, owner of Bippity Boppity Baby. “It’s a downtown event and a lot of people come here year after year and were not aware the parking situation had changed. I couldn’t understand why the city took it upon themselves to ticket every car. They should’ve taken that into consideration.”
The downtown munch-and-greet was held on and around Main Street from 6-8:30 p.m.
