NASHUA – The Board of Public Works voted 4-1 to keep its monthly meeting at 2 p.m. Thursday, a move one commissioner called “extreme arrogance.”
“I saw it as extreme arrogance and I forced a vote, because now, these people are on record that clearly it doesn’t matter to them who’s able to run for office and whether the public can participate,” Commissioner Tracy Pappas said Friday.
Pappas, in her sixth year on the board, put forth a motion Thursday to change the Board of Public Works’ monthly meeting from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. after Nashua resident Bob Sullivan had urged the board to consider the change for months.
