NASHUA – ’Tis the season for compromise, at least according to several New Hampshire activists.
With the holidays and the “fiscal cliff” deadline approaching, a group of grass-roots activists from across the state stationed outside U.S. Rep. Charles Bass’ former Nashua office Tuesday, encouraged the outgoing congressman to help reach a compromise on the nation’s tax issues.
The group tried to deliver a petition to Bass’ office, urging him to sign and calling for a vote in Congress on a plan to extend the middle class tax cuts.
Bass’ Nashua office closed since he lost the election last month to U.S. Rep.-elect Ann McLane Kuster.
