NASHUA – More than 50 people were evacuated from a Kessler Farm apartment building Wednesday morning after a blaze erupted in one apartment. Sharad Nisheeth said he was taking a shower when he heard a “small blast” and called 911 at about 7:30 a.m. He and his wife, Mahima Sharma, fled their second-floor apartment, No. 635, as fire broke out. His hand was hit and slightly burned by a falling ceiling tile. Nashua Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Kerrigan said that fire and smoke was visible when the crew arrived on scene at Building 18 of Boulder Park Apartments, 8 Kessler Farm Drive. The blaze was quickly controlled, and no one was injured. The fire apparently began in the bathroom. Kerrigan said about 50 people had to be evacuated for a time but were allowed back in the building before 9 a.m.
