MERRIMACK – Police on Friday arrested a man on charges of possessing heroin and marijuana.
Allen Smith, 21, of 1 Scituate Place, Apt. 5, Merrimack, is being held at the Valley Street jail in Manchester on $5,000 cash bail, police said.
He was scheduled to appear Monday at Goffstown district court.
At 6:03 p.m. Friday, police received a 911 call from Smith’s residence for an unknown problem with a 21-year-old male. On arrival, officers came in contact with Smith, who was found to be in possession of a small amount of heroin and marijuana, police said.
Smith was arrested and charged with being in possession of both illicit drugs, police said.
