The Tolles Street Mission is looking for students to join its French Hill Homework Club.
Registration for the after-school session be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday at its 52 Whitney St. location. The program is meant to help students with their homework, not to provide after-school care.
The club will help students with these subjects:
English – Tuesday, 3:30-4:30 p.m., with Jennifer Jordan.
Social studies – Wednesday, 3-4:30 p.m., with Scott Slattery.
Math – Thursday, 3-4:30 p.m., with Alderman Mark Cookson.
Participants need only to visit the mission and fill out forms for registration and parental consent to get started.
