NASHUA – As clocks downtown struck 4:31 p.m. Sunday, the streets and sidewalks of the city were all but deserted. Nearly every storefront was blacked out, save for the bars.
As Stephen Gostkowski kicked off and the Patriots game started rolling, the lights still burned bright in the windows of Twill on Main Street. Sandy Zielie, owner of the yarn and fabric store, sat at her desk, catching up on work for the day.
“I’m the only person in New England not watching this game,” she said.
