Greater Nashua has frozen solid. As temperatures plummet to single digits and the wind chill factor dips below zero, all manner of daily life in the Nashua region has been affected one way or another by the frigid temperatures. From school kids getting a lift from mom or dad instead of walking to a booming soup trade at Collins Brothers Chowder, the coldest stretch of the winter is on many people minds. Trish Beaulieu, the principal of Charlotte Ave. Elementary, said about 20 percent of her students, about 100 children, walk to school on a regular basis.
