MERRIMACK – Merrimack police filed several charges against a Manchester woman after they found her too impaired to drive on Bedford Road Thursday, police said.
Around 5 p.m. Thursday, Merrimack police stopped Lindsey Collins, 22, of 25 Warsaw Ave., Apt. 1, Manchester, after they witnessed her driving erratically on Bedford Road, police said.
When they made contact with her, police could detect an “odor of alcoholic beverage” coming from her, police said. Collins agreed to perform field sobriety tests and was arrested after police determined she was too impaired to drive, charging her with operating under the influence of liquor.
Collins, who was then transported to the Merrimack police station, was found to have provided a false name at the traffic stop and during booking, and was charged with disobeying a police officer, police said.
Police later learned that Collins’ license was suspended and previously had two other convictions for operating under suspension, charging her with operating after suspension subsequent.
Collins also was charged with operating without financial responsibility and charged with possession of a prescription drug after she was found to have Adderall without a prescription, police said.
She was booked and later released on $3,500 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in Merrimack District Court to answer the charges, police said.
