CONCORD (AP) – The University of New Hampshire School of Law is well on its way to completing its merger with its namesake – UNH.
The University of System of New Hampshire’s Board of Trustees voted Friday to fully integrate the two schools.
That vote follows the approval last week of the law school’s board of trustees.
The integration is expected to be complete early in 2014.
The merger began in 2010, when the former Franklin Pierce Law Center changed its name to reflect its new ties to UNH.
Law school Dean John Broderick said the merger will open new opportunities for both schools to offer dual degrees.
